Before in my life I have been shifting between vegan, vegeterian, only seafood and meat. Even tried a LCHF (loe carb hig fat) diet to improve my stomach problems but it didn't help (as some people told me).

But, I'm also a carb-junkie so I have also been eating alot of junk food, fries, chips, nuggets, anything fried actually. It has been running i periods, I have always managed to bee healthy for 10 days ore so before but after that it just falls in to nothing.

But this time; 8 days and I feel fine, I even stopt smoking at the same day I went raw, and I feel fine! No cravings!

And you? What was your "every dag diet"?

Well. I have more energy. Cleaning the house, teasing my husband and kiddiing around, almost feel like a child (^^,) But I hade stomach problems prior to this, IBS, alot of acid etc, and after just one day it got better.

I feel skinnier, but probably cause I'm not as bloated any more, but I'm gonna do a weigh in tomorrow to se if something has happened. 

Sure, we should keep in contact=)

I see what you're saying. Since I'm obese losing weight is part of getting healthy, it's not a purely aesthetical goal... It's causing health problems for me and would probably cause more in the future if I don't address it now. Anyway, I think your reason for going raw is awsome - it takes courage to change our way of life and I've only been 100% for 5 days and I've already lost 4,4 lbs so I'm pretty sure you'll get the benefit of weightloss too assuming that you have weight to lose, I'm probably losing this much because my weight is seriously out of balance. Best wishes to you in the new year and let me know how you get on with your journey. - Maria

Hi Sandy, nice to hear from you, I can see that you've got weight issues aswell, I'm looking to buddy up with people on the same journey so I'm totally here if ever you want to share what's going on for you. I guess I should say I'm not going raw just to lose weight, and it's true I don't, I've been into healthy lifestyles for a long time but these last couple of years I've really lost my way, and sure enough the weight issue is a BIG motivator. I've just been raw for 4 or 5 days, following the Angela Stoke's Live Lightly Plan, so I'm really new at this but I've been a vegetarian for at least 10 years so I have some experience with alternative diets. Anyway I wish you a very happy 2012 and look forward to hearing from you as you advance on your journey. - Maria
