Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!
RFR is a wonderful place! I'm here because I can not stand the thought of the horrors that happen to animals… especially the poor piggies! People have tried convincing me that it is OK to eat meats, but in my heart I know they are wrong!
I have met pet pigs and they are smarter than my dog! My little dog is pretty smart!
It disgusts me! It saddens me! I have tears in my eyes because I saw a couple of minutes of the unspeakable tortures that happen at the slaughter houses. It wasn't even minutes, it was more like a few seconds. The images are fresh in my mind. I want to soothe myself but am having difficulty with the fact that I live in a country where I am a minority.
I want a real life community to live in where the animals are treated well.
Can we make a paradise? Is it possible to go back to living in a garden? The thought sounds so wonderful to me.
I want to live somewhere with like minded people. Is there such a place?
I don't have to worry about interactions of medications because I don't take any! No high blood pressure, no diabetes, nothing… nada… zip… zed. I am so fortunate to not have any of the problems that so many humans are suffering from. I did have acid reflux. It went away about four years ago when I changed my diet.
Although I am still struggling with some cooked foods, I am a vegan! In my four year journey, I have had some fish. Not even a fish a month but I am so ready to never have even a tiny sardine again!
65,000,000 animals a year… slaughtered. Seems like we should be hearing their screams when the numbers are so high. Humane treatment? Not even close… just sadism.
RFR is the place for my voice. I am safe here. Safe expressing my true feelings about the sadism that is going on around me. I can't even walk past the meat section of the grocery store. My preferred store is a produce market that has a tiny meat section that I am able to easily avoid.
I don't expect the world to change, but there really should be a place for me and people like me… a garden that a community of people can live peacefully with our pets in our garden.
I would have a pig in the garden and it would be my pet, a girl pig, Petunia! She would be loved and never threatened with a tortuous death.
This all from a few short images. It is immoral what food factories are doing. It is unacceptable. There is a moral imperative happening and I am at a loss at what to do.
My first step is to not be one of the buyers. I'm ready for a juice feast… I really am "Hungry for Change!"
