Raw Food Rehab

Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!

I will be traveling overseas in 5 wks.  I will be gone 4 - 5 wks.  I really don't know what is going to be available to me when I get there.  I am wondering about purchasing the Tribest personal blender because my vitamix blender is my main tool everyday for my fruit and juice smoothies.  Would anyone know if this is the way to go?  Do you have any better ideas?

Thanks so much everyone.  Shalom from Laurie

Thanks DJ...I feel pretty good about the Tribest.  Going to check if it can be made to work with a converter in Israel.

I have the Tribest and i use it all the time. I haven't had the chance to travel with it yet...but when i do it is first on the list...its small and fairly light wieght. It is a good little blender.....i use it to whip up salad dressings for my salad. smooothies...it grinds seeds and nuts very well.....it's a keeper!  Hope this helps.

Enjoy your trip!

Thanks for the ideas all.  I was thinking about the adapter and converter as well. I may just have to eat lots of salads but I am really a smoothie girl.

Be sure to check into the electrical requisites of the countries you will visit..you may need adapter and converter.  Even then, may be dicey... even with an adapter I had a hair dryer blow up in India once - lots of fireworks!

I have a wonderful blender just like the magic bullet called the Bella Cucina...it's fabulous...I completely treat it like crap--shake it around to get everything blended properly as it's blending, don't really clean it very well...it holds completely strong and works the same every single time. :)  It's not a vitamix--don't count on making a quick banana icecream without shaking the crap out of it as it's blending, but it's a good blender and very stress releasing LOL :)

How about magic bullet? Heard great stuff about that one as well. Think I saw Victoria Boutenko use one?
