Thrift shopping... Amazing what you can get for $14.03

Two days ago I stopped in a thrift shop and found something I've been wanting for MONTHS...

It's in perfect shape except missing one rubber foot.

Dr. Mercola says that is the best form of exercise... And it's gotta be one of the funnest, I think!

Guess how much it was?

$12.12 LOL

I thought they put the decimal in the wrong place... I didn't think I would be able to afford one of these for a long time!

So yesterday I had to go back that way to return the young coconut that turned out to be spoiled that I'd bought at the gourmet foods store beside the thrift shop. And guess what I found?

It works and looks in perfect shape. It is just a cheap one but better than I had before (which was none). Guess how much they marked it?

$1.91 LOL

Epic! I can't wait to try making my own sprouted crackers.

I wonder if it is a coincidence that I am having such incredible luck at thrift shops since I went raw? Well, I don't believe in coincidence, so... :)

Actually I was a bit annoyed at having to return the coconut, but that turned out to be very fortuitous!

maybe you're just putting the vibe out there that you need this equipment and the universe is lining it up for you :)    Great find and excellent work staying within a great budget! More $ to go to great foods and nourishment!

Thanks, everyone! To more raw synchronicity for all ;D

@Andy, I am too blinded by Dara's sexiness to notice any sexiness of her accessories :) Haha, but yeah I love wooden bowls too.

@Maureen, "It's called disinfectant people!" LOL :D I know, totally. I think that's why I don't have so much competition at the thrift shops. So many people are terrified of germs. Nothing some soap and water can't fix, right?!

Ha Ha- synchronicity at play. A while back we needed a commode for my MIL who had just come out of hospital and they cost $300 . We decided we'd get one the next day. I drove out of my driveway and headed down the street. About 6 houses down-there it was, on the curbside - waiting for the hard rubbish collection--what looked like, a brand new commode identical if not better than the one we were about to buy. I pulled up and checked it out -perfect and unmarked and went charging up the driveway to ask the owners who I dont  know if we could have it. The dog barked but noone came and guess what? it landed in my boot!? (with a little help from me.) Home I went, amazed and grateful.

When I told a couple of people about my encounter with the universe they said "Ew. How could you?" and I said " How many people used the one we had in hospital before us?" It's called disinfectant people! Everytime I see that most handy device, I have a little smile. It's not really about saving the money. It's more about how you start seeing things differently when they are needed in your world and sometimes you find exactly what you need when you need it. Your lucky day too Basil!

Basil that is awesome. It's amazing what you can find in a thrift store. Not too long ago I bought a really nice wooden fruit bowl and cereal bowls. I was turned on by them when watching one of Dara's videos. I thought the bowls looked sexy.

My mother just offered me a dehydrator that she has never used.  Once the fast is over I'm going to experimenting a  lot with.

Keep, keeping on.

That's amazing, Basil! The cosmos is totally on your side and you're in the flow of everything that's good. Enjoy your awesome finds, I don't have a rebounder, but I LOVE my dehydrator. Nice!

Thanks, everyone! I highly recommend that you check if you have a Volunteers of America thrift shop in your area... That's my favourite one :)
