No rigid rules, labels or dogmas.... just REAL food, for your body, mind & soul!
I walked into town through the park today - spring has finally come to England, hurrah! Decided to take some pics to show you , it's so beautiful; blossom, daisies, (can you eat daisies, by-the-way? they look so edible!), birds singing. The swallows have arrived...
And then, passing the benches (which I've walked past many, many times before - I've lived here for 16 years, for heaven's sake. How unobservant am I!?), I noticed for the first time the inscriptions:
This tickled me - you can just imagine this brisk, matter-of-fact woman and her attitude to life. No nonsense. Every time I pass this now, it's going to remind me that life is short, and to just get on with things. Thank you, Dr Gwynneth Seymour!
Next to this bench was another with a very different message:
You can also imagine this couple - comfortable, easy-going, placid...the complete opposite of Gwynneth! I expect Gwynneth sat in the park composing her to-do list, while Tom and Kath sat and smiled and listened to the birds...
I like both. Sometimes it's good to be brisk and matter of fact, and other times it's good to just sit and be. I love this park!
