Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!
Hi peeps!
Lately I've been pondering on the roles that foods play in relation to our emotions. Before going raw I wouldn't have put much thought into this subject because my emotions were completely suppressed by the foods I had been consuming. Everyone is so different and each one of us react differently to certain foods. There was a period of time where I'd be mostly juicing and that's when I felt most vibrant, now I feel most energized when I start my day off with my Raw Chocolate Date Smoothie!
1. Do you think the foods we consume determine our state of mind, or do you believe our state of mine determines the foods we choose consume, or both?
2. What raw foods give you the "feel good vibes"? And which ones not so much?

And raw good vibes for me come from fruits, salads, and the bad vibes come from raw cakes or desserts that have a crust made out of nuts and dates (super sweet and rich).
There is a huge food-mood connection, beyond a shadow of a doubt. The food makes the blood, blood sugar levels, flow or sticky, all coursing through the brain. So much more than that, but yes food and mood are linked!
People choose foods for their mood too for sure. If they are not intuitive eaters, they might choose for their emotions (to numb or bliss) vs what they need nutritionally. Key is to really hear what the body is saying. Not jumping at the first train through.
Feel good vibes=avocado, green juice, wheatgrass....not so much? Heavy like nuts and such!
