Raw Food Rehab

No rigid rules, labels or dogmas.... just REAL food, for your body, mind & soul!

For me Lent is a special time of reflection, so this year I am going to do a Juice Fast.  I am going to start Ash Wednesday.  I would love to be able to go the full forty days that Jesus spent in the desert, but I know that Jesus would look kindly on me for whatever good changes I make during Lent. If anyone would like to join me on this  journey,  please do,  your company would be a blessing.

Hey all, I've been so busy. Rawvolution chili for dinner. Warm from the blender, yum.

Was rolling right along until Saturday.  I became ill, was it detoxing?   I also had a sense of sadness and anger., with fatigue, generally when I juice I am full of energy and happy beyond words.   I attended a get together for my nephew and ate food.  Sunday still not feeling well and even today not 100%.  I had juice this morning and it did not agree with me, these are juices I love, so I am going slow,  trying to figure out what my body is telling me.  My ears are hissing and my joints hurt so bad.  Going to have some tea on my next break.

Did well yesterday.  There was a lot of stress going on at work, thought I was going to cave in.  Did not.  Made it thru day one.  Now onto today.  Breakfast juice. apple, carrots, cuke, swiss chard.  Lunch will be apple, cuke, kale, and ginger.  Plenty of teas, water and kombucha in between. .  Dinner will be a savory juice, garlic, arugula, cuke, celery and salt.  Night time willend with a juice of watermelon, honey and water.

Started Ash Wednesday morning with some reflection,  Jesus died for me , I  should be able to do a liquid fast for 40 days right???    However I already stepped into the devils den at work, I wonder if that was intentional??   I did not let that stop plans for liquids and juice.  I normally would have grabbed something to shove in my mouth to shut me up.  My breakfast juice consisted of an apple, cuke,  and spinach.  For lunch I have a juice of cuke, kale, and apple.  I am prepared at work with teas and plenty of water.  I hope your Ash Wednesday is reflective.

Great Wendi!  I am grateful for your  support.  I really can't think of a better time to do this fast!

I will join you, juice, smoothies, raw foods. 100% rawness, just what I needed. I've just finished a liquid only fast, but I truly feel like I need more time "fasting" and seeking Him.
