Did you know that smiling is GOOD FOR YOU?

:)   :)   :)   :)   :)   :)   :)   :)   :)   :)

Whether you are feeling it or not, smiling can actually trick your brain into thinking that you are HAPPY!  Don’t believe me?  Try it when you are feeling grumpy!  You might feel weird for a second but wait for it!  You will start to feel lighter and you may even giggle a bit (always happens to me)!

Smiling is also a stress reliever!  Again, try smiling when you are feeling stressed!  You will feel the stress dissolve very quickly!

Another thing that is great about smiling is that it is CONTAGIOUS!  I mean, when someone smiles at you, how often do you NOT smile back?  And when you are surrounded by people who are smiling rather than those who are stern, doesn’t it just FEEL better?  For sure!  Smiling, like everything else, has its own energy vibe!  And it sure is an uplifting one!

Aside from the energy stuff, smiling increases endorphins (the body’s natural “painkillers”) as well as serotonin (happy brain chemicals)!

Because of all this, smiling actually BOOSTS YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM!!!  That’s sure something to think about this time of year (cold and flu season)!

So yeah!  Just in case you were looking for a REASON to smile, there are a bunch for you!  So get started on your S-M-I-L-E today!  It really does have a snowball type of effect on both you and those around you!  Once you start, it is hard to stop!
