Raw Food Rehab

Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!

hi everybody ~

I am moved to post this because I recently learned that Darlene Knight's father passed away.

I don't know Darlene, or her Dad- but what I do know is that we are community, and Darlene has been a lovely contributor to the high consciousness, good energy, support, good-will and even financial assistance (helping others to have access to initiatives and such through her scholarship fund). And I just thought it might be sweet for us to send her some love notes and encouragement at this time.

And for anyone else (and I know that there are many of us) dealing with loss, change, difficulties of a financial nature, or just having a tough time- let's share the love. Find a way today to pass it along - or to drink it in. There's plenty here for all. Some days I just look through the photos of all of the amazing, creative, lovely folks here in the 'Hab and I feel uplifted.

Drink deep.

and nourish yourself with the most important ingredient of all....

WOW...My heart is smiling right now...Thank you Janet for this beautiful post and to all of you that commented.  I am deeply touched to have this group of love an support at this time.  Dad was doing soooo well that I thought he was going home!  He was doing great at rehab and his walking and breathing...I had seen him and spoken to him the night before and he was upbeat and spunky and himself!  When I got the call from the doctor, I was completely shocked and asked him if he was kidding when he said he would be surprised if Dad made it through the day...He had gotten pneumonia again, (3X in 3 months) wasn't responding to treatment and his lungs were filling with fluid. I had the priest come in and as he spoke, Dad had a smile on his face...he was ready to go in peace...he had been suffering with illness and pain for years!!!  We all  got to speak to him, tell him we loved him and we were all with him when he passed peacefully in his sleep.  Life is full of ups and downs and lots of surprises and you just never know when it's your time.  Enjoy every waking moment, smile lots, forgive, don't judge and as Janet said, be sure to have lots of love in your heart and nourish yourself and others...you just never know what they may be going through!  I love you all and I am so happy to call you my friends!!!  XOXO

Love to all and especially to Darlene and family right now.

Loving deeply has its other side of hurting and missing greatly.

Sharing the love is a way of showing we truly care and are here to support.

Thanks for reminding us Janet  to dig deep, reach out and drink (and eat ) it all in.

Love your plate :)

Thank you for sharing the information with the RFR community, Janet.  So very thoughtful of you to give us an insight of a member in need of our love and appreciation.

Darlene, my heart understands the loss of a love one such as a Dad and you are in my thoughts and prayers.  Love & Hugs,
