Today is my best pal's birthday. I made what I call 'fairy food' - light, beautiful, radiantly raw and tasty on the palate.
I put together a plate of zucchini slices topped with pesto (basil & pumpkin seeds blended w/ olive oil & a bit of garlic salt)
then sundried tomatoes and 1 olive. These little 'sliders' were a hit. My friend said, why in the world would anyone ever want crackers if they had these?
She is not raw by any means, so it is really fun to delight her with my raw creations.
I also made raw carrot cake in little individual ramekins. We enjoyed chai tea with the feast. What a lovely way to celebrate friendship and health!
