Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!
Just started Ani Phyo's 15 day programme. Loving the blueberry smoothie for breakfast. My diet has been so bad recently, I feel so ready for this. By eating SAD foods, my attitude to life had become sad and I'd stopped caring about myself and got into a 'what's the point in anything' frame of mind. But now, I feel that doors are opening again. I want to get back to that brilliant place (mentally and physically) I was in when I was 100% raw a couple of years ago.
I really like Ani's book and have read some excellent reviews, so here's hoping. Raw, walking and yoga...might just do the trick...
Plan:
Breakfast: Ani's Blueberry smoothie with cinnamon and Matcha.
Mid-morning: rest of smoothie.
Lunch: Pak Choi soup.
Mid afternoon: Might have rest of soup if my daughter leaves me any - she loves raw foods! If not, then probably banana smoothie as I have some to use up.
Dinner: Tomato bisque (might splash out on some expensive M&S tomatoes for this. Indulgent, but they're so delicious).
Will do an hour of yoga this morning. Some housework - wash floors, wash curtains (Day off work - I have two weeks of annual leave bar having to go in for 7 hours this Friday and 7 hours next Thurs. YAY!!!). Walk into town to see my father (not doing too well. He's 95 and starting to get very frail). Will do a bit of digging in the garden. And some studying for my archaeology module. Then an early night. That's the plan...(Would really like to fit in some painting as well - keep thinking how I would love to get back in to that). Here goes...
(BTW, I love the dedication at the front of Ani's book: 'May this book help you to launch your life beyond any limitations and all boundaries. May you enjoy a blissful life with no regrets, that's filled with love, joy, laughter, prosperity and longevity. happiness is a reflection of our inner health. Laugh lots and live long'. That is SO beautiful).

I'm staring this today and plan to blog about my progress daily! How did the plan work for you?
"Raw, walking and yoga" Sounds good to me. :-)
Comment by angela usher on June 22, 2012 at 4:09am I've been lurking too Kate....sometimes it gets to be a bit too hard doesn't it? This time last year I was feeling pretty fantastic not so now. Time to get my act together I think. Enjoy your holiday and Ani's programme. I'm on holiday too we've just come back from a four day houseboat trip on the Murray river here in SA. It was lovely waking up to the sounds of the river in the morning and seeing the pelicans and the pretty black swans. Even after nearly thirty years here I still marvel that there really are black swans. Here's to good intentions and good (raw) food : ) Love Angela XXX
Hello to Gill too : )
Comment by Kate Frances on June 21, 2012 at 1:41am Thanks Gill! I have been lurking, just reading, not blogging. Always read your posts. In fact, I scroll through, looking for them first!
