What an amazing week. I've been up & down (and on & off) the raw road since August 2008 and for the first time EVER I sat down and made a meal plan, shopped, then prepped all the food for the entire week. What a difference a little preparation makes! I didn't stray because everything was ready and waiting for me 24/7.
I also set a few guidelines for myself. The main 4 were:
*1 green smoothie a day
*1 green salad a day
*H2O every day
*Movement every day (either a walk or jog)
My pantry is sooo empty tonight, I'm eating my last slices of onion bread with tahini spread, and I made some raw nori rolls with the left over veggie bits in the fridge. Tomorrow will be a big grocery shopping & prep day, but I'm proud of myself... didn't let any produce go bad this week. Woohoo!
As far as results go... the proof is in the chia pudding. I'm feeling great. I had a day of kind of gross detox feeling, but I drank a lot of water and flushed it all away. My energy has improved and I dropped 5 pounds.
