I have been transitioning onto this 80/10/10 diet over the course of little over a month and just wanted to give a results update. So far, everything is excellent. I have lost about 6 pounds in about a month and a half (started going vegetarian, then substituting one meal a day with just fruit, now I eat 2 meals all raw fruit/veg and dinner is high carb low fat cooked). I find this diet a tricky one to adjust to in terms of how much to eat, how much to buy at a time so you don't run out and what to buy so you don't spend a fortune. My mom has even taken an interest in the diet and is just starting this week. I wish her luck because she definitely needs to eat better and has been obsessed with fad diets all her adult life.
