Hi all,

I have been transitioning onto this 80/10/10 diet over the course of little over a month and just wanted to give a results update. So far, everything is excellent. I have lost about 6 pounds in about a month and a half (started going vegetarian, then substituting one meal a day with just fruit, now I eat 2 meals all raw fruit/veg and dinner is high carb low fat cooked). I find this diet a tricky one to adjust to in terms of how much to eat, how much to buy at a time so you don't run out and what to buy so you don't spend a fortune. My mom has even taken an interest in the diet and is just starting this week. I wish her luck because she definitely needs to eat better and has been obsessed with fad diets all her adult life.

Keep us posted. I found 811 to be a challenge even though I love fruit. Saturated fats are critical for brain function and the nervous system so I hope you're getting enough.

What ever we do and stick to it shows results, we must have a plan to follow I find to make it easier. And that is what you are doing!!! Great!
