Raw Food Rehab

Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!

Went to bed early in such a bad mood last night. Work was crazy bad (hospital). My family were driving me nuts. I was angry, grumpy, sad, frustrated, lonely (long-story; ex-husband), bloated and feeling generally rubbish from bad food choices.

Woke up this morning, had a cup of organic tea with almond milk and grumpily checked in on the computer. In my email box was a note from the wonderful Kris Carr, so I clicked on the link to her website and read a piece by someone who has changed her diet to raw and has gone from having alternate-week blood transfusions (because of beta-thalassaemia, I think it was) to having them 3 to 4 weeks apart. For the first time in her life! All because of becoming a raw foodist!!! How amazing is that. Got me thinking long and hard. I am recommiting to 100% raw.

Went into my bedroom and stood at the window in the early morning sun. Felt so grateful to be alive, so blessed to have a precious day off, in the sunshine. I'm well, alive, all of my various limbs and senses work pretty ok! I stood for a while with my hands on my heart just drinking in the bliss of the warm sun and the peacefullness and decided to open my heart to love. I need to give out kindness, love and compassion to get rid of all the negativity.

Went back to the computer after a few minutes and clicked on Kris's link to yoga. The first article that flashed up was 'Open Your Heart to Love'!

The Universe truly supports our decisions!

Read it while I drank the best smoothie I've ever made:

Mix of blueberries and raspberries

Banana

Almond milk

Blended with a sprinkling of cinnamon, a teaspoon of Green Matcha, a teaspoon or so of ground Flax and a heaped teaspoon of cacao.

Yummmeeee!

Wishing you all a wonderful, love-filled day full of gorgous health supporting raw foods!
