Raw Food Rehab

Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!

Last night I cooked turkey Italian sausage and mashed potato's and green beans for my kids. That was a fairly difficult undertaking because I was showing my 13 year old how to cook...so no headphones!

Then last night I woke up because I was dreaming about that same meal and I was now hungry! I meditated for 15 minutes and went back to sleep. That was some serious hunger pains I'll tell you.

I find that during the day at work is the easiest because I'm busy and I can follow a routine. At night and the weekends are a little tougher.

I keep my mantra going in my head when it gets tough "do it for you, one day at a time." It's been working, lets see for how long.

To all fellow feaster's hang in there, it's well worth it.

Next stop day 6...

Hey, congratulations! My husband and I are on a juice feast, in the midst of day 11 now. This is a personal best for us. We're hoping to go for 21 days. And like you, we're taking it a day at a time.

We're drinking green juices, watermelon juice, tomato/celery/cucumber/ginger juice (sometimes with carrots), and a citrus mix of orange/grapefruit/pineapple. And water, although we should drink more. Getting about a gallon a day. This seems to do it for the hunger, and for hydration. We're really pleased we've come his far.

All the best to you for your fast!

Thanks for the encouragement.

Good luck on your 100% raw quest. It's well worth it.

hang in there, you are doing amazing and I as a new raw fooder are proud of you and thank you for sharing to keep up honest, LOL. I did two full months last year and it was the best thing I did, then fell off the wagon not badly, didn't hurt myself LOL. Have been about 80-95 % raw since. As of tomorrow I will do it again, fully rraw, wish me luck. again thanks for sharing
