It's day 4 of the feast and I'm feeling really good. I started adding more pure vegetables juices yesterday and that seemed to do the trick. I also started really concentrating on drinking more water.

The fruit based juice was getting too sweet for me, so I've shifted more to veggies. On my first fast I tried going mostly vegetables from the start and that made the fast a lot harder for me for some reason. I suppose everyone is different.


I found a trick for having to cook dinner while juicing; I listened to my iPod. It's not just the smells for me, it's the sounds. I had to stop myself a few times from licking my fingers. My subliminal mind taking over I guess? ;^)

I'm fairly certain I'm going longer than a week; at least that's the plan right now.
