My name is Jennifer and I am a Vegan. I live a pretty well balanced diet of plant based foods, just recently I realized I'm still not eating as well as I could.I have been truly stuck at a plateau weight of 180 lbs and have been getting totally frusterated with myself. I am a Vegan that thrives on alot of Carbs. I purchased a dehydrater and fancy pants blender, I got all the good for me food stocked up so no more excuses! And I have the best support. My husband is a Vegan as well! So I decided to take on this Challenge Raw Food Rehab!
Reasons for doing this is because I never follow through 100% Everytime I don't see changes within a few days to a week I give up, out the window to whatever I started and on to the next......Its been challenging to try and stick with something So here I am.
Day #2 Here I am I worked today and stopped off at home and made a shake for breakfast and juiced for lunch. I want to inspire and encourage not only myself but others and be inspired to keep going not because its a challenge but because I want this as a lifestyle not just for 3o days.
So I am hoping to post for atleast 30days everything I eat and exercise as well as how i am feeling and I hope to find out alot about myself throughout this next month. (bonus if I lose weight)
I had a Raw cacao shake with Banana, Maca powder almond milk for breakfast. I liter of lemon juice for lunch and a really healthy juice for lunch. I made Beet carrot apple and lemon juice for snack.
For dinner I am having a huge salad with a mixed greens and mushroom, pepper, onion, etc,,, and if I get hungry later on I am going to make some raw food Crackers tomato Flax from cookbook Anis' Raw Food Essentials!! they are the best!!! I just got off work so Im going to make this quick before I lose motivation to go to the gym. I got coconut water for after my 5k run.
I am feeling inspired today and uplifted and I am going to try sprouting tonight I got some stuff to do wheat grass!!

You seem to have everything under control.... looking forward to the exercising buddy plan.... was a bit busy with my daughter's wedding but i am ready to get started now... as i am on different time zones we will have to arrange how to do this.

Comment by Jennifer on February 3, 2013 at 4:25pm Day #3 got up extra early even on my day off made a banana, cacao smoothie and off to hot yoga! I did 75 min yoga, then went for a walk with my hubby. It felt good to get some fresh air outside.....Feeling healthier everyday!
