Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!

It's happening..I'm getting healthier. I went to the doctor today and they did blood work and took my  blood pressure. My blood pressure with meds was 115/70. I was shocked. I have only had a reading like that one other time in my life. Usually my readings are from 135-155 with meds. I am so happy. i want to get to these readings without the meds of course, but, I'll take them with the meds for now. Then they did my bloodwork for A!C, which measures your glucose levels for the past 120 days. When i was diagnosed with pre-diabetes, it was 7.0 then in March of this year, I got it down a little to 6.9 and today (drumroll please)it was 6.4. I am living  proof that you can reverse diabetes or even pre-diabetes. My goal is under 6.0 as soon as i can get there. All these changes occured in me in the last two months. My doctor  was not in and the doctor who saw me was so excited for me. She didn't even take my cholesterol level at all, since she said that last time it was normal, but I wasn to get that level even lower. The doctor questioned me extensively on what I did make the changes and she approved of all of them. My iron was the only thing out of whack. it was a 10.2. I have to work on that. Only thing I know that works quickly to raise iron levels is Cream of Wheat and it's cooked. Is it okay to eat that on a daily basis for a while???

I'm so happy that I could dance. I also solved my back pain problem. I was doing my exercises in a metal chair without a cushion and I injured my tailbone. Now I exercise in the same chair with a cushion and i feel so much better. The back pain has vanished and I'm back to exercising again a hour a day and I'm walking better already. I'm still astonished that these changes have taken place in the last two months. Now I'm excited looking and thinking about what things might be different in the next two months. Thank you God for guiding me to victory.

Thanks everyone for your prayers and suggestions given to me. I've wanted to give up many a day and did give up, but stumbled to my feet the next day, week, month or even year and started all over again and now I'm having success.  Please continue to pray for me as I pray for you all. have a great green week.

Of course, the cream of wheat is ok if that is where you feel you need to get your iron from.  Eating RAW is about obtaining your optimal health.  If you need to incorporate a little cooked to find balance, that is okay.  It is not about following a set of rules/guidelines but rather eating in such a way that suits you and your body's specific needs.

If you want to get the iron from a raw source, you may find plenty online.  I believe your leafy greens are supposed to be high in it.  Eating lots of them daily should do wonders!  Be sure to be getting plenty of Vitamin C (oranges, grapefruits, tomatoes, broccoli and strawberries) along with your selected iron source as it is supposed to increase iron absorption.  (http://www.mckinley.illinois.edu/Handouts/dietary_sources_iron.html is one resource for a list of HEME and NON-HEME sources of iron)

So grateful for all the healing you are seeing made manifest by the grace of God and His great and perfect guidance.  I believe is greatly willing to do this to all who wish to be well and seek His wisdom on how to attain that wellness!
