Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!

Identity, you are not what you do.

Who do you think you are?  Who do you think I am?

I am not what you see.  My identity is a forever being.

My body is a miraculous tool "I" inhabit temporarily.

"I" am not what I do.  My choices and actions are not my identity.

We are separate from our temporary bodies, choices and actions.

"I" am on a journey, like "You". We walk this temporary earth in these temporary bodies, doing temporary things, with forever beings like ourselves, storing up the treasure of eternal love in heaven.

My identity seems a little lonely and quiet when it can't be defined in relationship to what I do, or other people. I think acceptance, peace and approval are in here with me. I think the whisper of my maker is in here with me. Love is with me. Love is with you. Love lasts forever.

The things we do are not our identity, but choosing to love, gives us something to keep forever.

I don't need you to change a bit to love, accept, and approve of you. The temporary life experience in these bodies is our journey, our story, our playground, our classroom. but it is not our identity.

So, what if we dislike the attitudes, choices, thoughts or behaviors of someone?  First, mentally separate their forever self from their physical self, and love their forever self. Second, clarify your boundaries for relationship, and hold that line with logical but loving consequences. Third, be a good example for their physical selves, without trying to convince them of anything. Do not judge them. Do not try to change or fix them.  Respect that this is their journey, and you have not experienced their path.

Paul Risse explained, "Share your love with them. Let them ask you questions. If they observe you full of love, life, energy and kindness they will become curious.  My breakthrough happened when I realized I was connected to and participating in all the systems I was judging. Maybe not directly but def indirectly. The computer I am using has metals that were mined from mountaintops, the car I am driving relies on gas/oil that is pulled from the earth, the roads I drive on have destroyed natural habitat, the planes I fly in kill birds and have an enormous carbon footprint, the paper i wrote my book on used to be a tree, I sometimes buy non organic produce because my environment offers that as the main choice which is me investing in chemicals on some small level.  My point is that the world and systems are so woven together that to judge one thing is usually a judgement of yourself. Do the best you can every day. Make choices that better the earth and your body as often as possible. Be kind to others. Thank God for everything."

God, our eternal selves, and love matter. May the spirit in me recognize and love the spirit in you.

Love,

Lynda Roy

Maureen, yes, I use hulled buckwheat. I learned about how to use buckwheat from Dara Dubinet on youtube making Raw Buckwheat Granola.

I am still a beginner -alfalfa and mung etc but I will give quinoa a go and do you use hulled buckwheat?

Thanks for the idea.

Maureen, In you honor, I will sprout some quinoa and buckwheat tomorrow!

I like the sprouted quinoa seeds on raw nori veggie rolls instead of rice.  I also love sprouted and dehydrated buckwheat crispies to make all kinds of fun things!

A new part of me -I am a dedicated sprout eater - and promoter. Get your sprouts on! I know Dara agrees!!

Thanks Jamie, Janet, and Maureen!  It is amazing that the risks we take, as in sharing in a safe environment, reap the best rewards!  I love it here at the Hab with you!

A beautiful breakthrough - courageous and inspirational.

So true that we are all part of everything, and our greater awareness and understanding of the nature of this life will help us make better choices. I'm a strong believer in the ripple effect........
