Raw Food Rehab

Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!

hi my friends - I'm celebrating a major paradigm shift - I actually was in line at Starbucks - to 'get a little treat because I deserve it' (note the voice of my inner child here) and as I was perusing the items in the case my wiser self was saying - 'you've got lovely raw food at home, much more satisfying and nourishing than this'. And this voice sounded so true, like a clear bell ringing, that I made a U-Turn - got out of line, went to my car, went home and enjoyed the raw pumpkin pie leftovers!! Woo-Hoo - enjoyed every bite, too. My Thanksgiving was a celebratory dinner with my sweetheart - focusing on our gratitude. I brought many lovely raw foods (thank you Penni for all of the pumpkin and cranberry and other recipes that helped to keep it within a feeling of the traditional foods) which we both enjoyed. He is not a raw foodist, nor even a vegetarian - and he heartily enjoys everything I make - what a blessing that is! When we were out for a walk in the village he lives in, we came across a neighbor who asked how was our turkey dinner - and my sweetheart immediately said - oh, we don't eat turkey we are vegetarians - so sweet. We even saw some wild turkeys strolling through a field during our walk - we called out our love and blessings to them. Love to all.

Very awesome! I notice that coffee is one of the hardest cravings. Even though I only had one cup every now and then. Keep it up!

yep, turn it around, back up the truck - time for a new direction! the coolest thing about this little change of direction was that it did not involve will-power at all, nor much back and forth in my head - just a simple change of mind, change of heart - that I know comes from all of the other powerful choices I have made with the loving support of my RFR community. I learn from each and every one of you - and it's such a blessing to share the journey.
