Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!
So I got discouraged and quit like I have done so many times..so many changes in my life right now. Graduated now in graduate school.. so far so good..left my job to focus on school..personal things in my life is going crazy...emotions everywhere..taking all my strength not to drown myself in sweets, but I know what I have to do. Walking actually helps the emotions...no one can tell if you are crying or sweating in this heat...fruit and vegetables are good and home grown too. One day at a time in so many aspects of my life. hope everyone is well..blessings to you all!!

Comment by Amanda Henry on June 19, 2012 at 3:06am Thank you all for the kind words. I have dug deep within to do what I need to do to succeed. I have stumbled a lot on this raw food journey or diet journey for that matter, but I have tons of friends ( you all) and my family behind me to help me along the way. Blessings to you all and hugs!!
Comment by Wendy Geesey on June 15, 2012 at 8:39am Hi Amanda, Did you know we only have so much will-power? You have been using ALL of yours to deal with all these changes in your life... diet usually is a big one to "take the hit". Raw fruit, veggies, smoothies and juices will actually help support your mind, body and spirit... maybe before you get hit with a lot of emotional stuff you can start your day with a fruit juice or smoothie? and try to keep it going from there? Try to remember that eating junk will only make you feel worse... BUT if you are going to eat it, eat it with gratitude!
In my opinion there is no such thing as "defeat" in raw food... it is a lifestyle, a journey... we have good days and we have not so good days... it's not all or nothing and tomorrow is a new day. You are going thru a difficult time- don't beat yourself up! (((HUGS)))

Glad you are back Amanda. I go up and down with raw foods. You are not alone. Every positive thing you do no matter how small makes a difference. Try not to get discouraged.
