No rigid rules, labels or dogmas.... just REAL food, for your body, mind & soul!

Hey There,
>>>I am sorry that I may not have been as responsive as you have written and sent me a message. Some of you have prayed for me. I really have been feeling sick. I do want to thank you for your prayers for me. While this time has been difficult, it was made easier by your prayers. The biopsy came back with a small tumor in my stomach lining, (can we say that it will be benign) which will be watched closely and a lot of small very small holes and cuts in my stomach, cause unknown. That is now being thought of as why I am so anemic. I also have c-diff infection in the accumulated debris in my stomach as well. C. diff, is a bacterium that has caused symptoms ranging from diarrhea to a life-threatening inflammation of the colon, this past month, which is what I have also been experiencing and still am. Typically occurs after use of antibiotic medications - I had large doses following my accident two years ago and previous years because of some other health issues. I was already diagnosed with gastro paresis - which means that my food does not leave my stomach like it should. So far it is taking about 48 hours or more to transition in my intestines. . When the stomach is already full, I throw up any new food, and when it has emptied some, it causes constipation.
>>>For the most part, I have restarted a semi-liquid diet, it has affected my blood sugar (making it high) and my thyroid (making it low and causing other issues). Right now I am taking some powerful medication for the infection and once that is cleared, there will be further discussions. The meds make me nauseous but if it helps, then I am going to take it. Now, if this would just result in some more weight loss, I might just think it was worth it. :o)

>>>Although this month is dedicated to breast cancer, please take heed to your health, Sadly, having type 2 diabetes, gastro paresis is a complication where nerve damage happens in the stomach and slows down or cuts down the movement of food. It is not something that is talked about because we typically only hear about blindness, heart disease and amputations. Having experienced this and all the complications, I am begging you to ensure that you get as healthy as you possibly can; drink you water, eat rawer ( I did not make that word up) fresh fruits and veggies, move a little more than just getting in the car or going to bed. Breath, practice deep breathing to build your lings and oxygenate your body, bypasses some of the fried and starchy foods that we love so much. Please!!!
>>>I am at a critical stage right now, and my blessings are still many: I am here right now to write to you, my liver and kidneys are functioning well -which with this can be a serious problem; There were also other complications that I am experiencing and rather than talk about that, let me tell you the good news!!
>>>Early Monday morning, I had a visitation from the Holy Spirit - asked the question 'do you want to be healed" and then given the message, "pick up my bed and walk". This scripture comes from John 5:1-10 about the man at the pool of Bethesda. I had a biopsy on September 14, and some but not all results had not been received. From past situations, the longer it took, I was diagnosed with cancer and it yield negative results and surgeries with debilitating results, so I was in despair. I prayed, I believed but I was in despair. Going to bed with prayer in my mind on Sunday evening and once again yielding my will to God, I was blessed to be awakened with that scripture.

Jacqueline, I will be keeping you foremost  in my prayers tonight for your healing.  I don't know if you saw the "live" feed from the International Day of Juice Feasting, but Wendy Smiling gave her testimony of healing from the gastric paresis.  What a scary condition.. I really am behind in reading the blogs here and I hope you can "friend" her and I'm sure she'll be very supportive as well.

I am touched by hearing of your situation Jackie!  Thank you for your ALWAYS encouraging ways!  You are a true blessing my friend.  How wonderful to have such a direct conversation with the Holy Spirit!  Your healing is here!!!  You are here and working daily towards more healthful living!  BRAVO for you!  I am always inspired to hear how disciplined you are in your efforts - it blesses us more than you know.  Because of lovely ladies (and gents) here like you who share your experiences in not only the raw food lifestyle but the exercise and fitness routines you pursue, the husband and I are walking daily now.  I walk once in the morning alone and then he joins me in the evenings.  We are building new habits.

May Creator continue to bless your health efforts!

Hi Jacki!

I am with you on this as I just got out of the hospital myself with complications resulting from some infection along with major diabetes issues.  I'm having trouble even walking but am committed to start over again and make the changes God wants for me.  We can do ALL things through Christ Jesus who gives us strength.
