Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!
Hello everyone
I have been researching how to acheive hormonal balance with raw foods. Have read the articles about soy and its estrogen properties, and the side effects as well.
Being post menopausal there is no estrogen with my body and do not want to go prescription estrogen replacement therapy.
Is anyone using raw foods to provide their bodies with estrogen. Any advice would be greatly would be greatly appreciated.
Stay Blessed All

Comment by Barbara on July 18, 2012 at 9:33am I too never worried myself over menopause. I've eaten high raw for years and had no problems. Plenty of greens is a must, I agree with djd, it's all about balance with both food and exercise.
Comment by Stephanie Kenyon on July 17, 2012 at 10:00am I find the better I eat the better my hormones get. I also take an herbal combination called adrenal support that is fantastic. It had adaptogenic herbs that help your body handle stress better and this helps the natural production of hormones from the adrenal gland. The adrenal glands are what is supposed to help women after they go through menopause, but with all the stress in our day to lives these glands get fatigued. For more information search "Dr. Lam adrenal fatigue" on the web. This man is very smart. I consulted with him for 2 years
I have seen no need to worry about estrogen. I just eat plenty of fruit, greens, some veggies, and let the balance work itself out. It is a very complex one and when we start messing with one element, the others get thrown out of whack.
