Dear All,

I'm new to RFR and hope to gain enough knowledge to step up my Health. My relationship with food hasn't been the best & the wear and tear is showing and felt greatly. My bodies screaming at me and tired of being on its knees. Plus I'm over weight, not massively but enough that it's actually staring to feel uncomfortable.

I was hoping one or two of you could advise and or share a recommended 7 - 21 day smoothie fast. My body is screaming for a cleanse! I have a Vita Mix but am yet to buy Jars/containers to drink them from. Any suggestions on the best ones? I'll be starting the fast from Aug 1st & i'll will be working full time. Lol my poor colleagues.

I don't know of any good recipes and annoyingly I can only get hold of spinach, chard, kale & celery & beets for their leaves. I use celery leaves too. I'll get bored with these after a few days. I live in Londoloans should start looking for a farm & people who plant flowers for wild edible greens. I read somewhere to rotate your greens intake? It's so difficult to get a variety of fruit, greens and veg in London without travelling far. There is a market I know of but there so expensive and only open once a week. I'll have to find a way around it.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

That is great that you are taking action, prevention before things get out of hand. I have been raw off and on for 2 years and it has made the biggest difference in my life. I will share with you what I know. I am a metaphysical healer and nutritional consultant, yoga instructor, I will share from my experience. It is good to read what people say and have done but take what works for you and leave the rest. You will get your own knack. The jars I use are mason jars with the lids then I know I have drank 1 litre of greens per day. I have a fruit smoothie every morning with superfoods in it. Example. I have a vitamix as well and a juicer that takes the pulp out. In my vitamix I use a banana, pear ( greatest fruit for eliminating) which is good for losing weight. piece of pineapple (good for inflammation) which is weight related, spirulina 1 teaspoon (pretty powerful is taste as well as nutrition) so don't overdo. Maca, hormonal, energy balance 1 Tablespoon and I T of cacao powder to make it taste chocolatey ( that's if you like chocolate)  That takes all of 5 minutes and you are ready for your day. Throughout the day I eat nuts ( I love pecans and walnuts ). Have a large salad either for lunch or supper and then when get home from work make my green juice. I use 4 carrotts, 4 celery, 1/2 cucumber. another is those 3 plus a piece of fruit for sweetness ( I am not a sweetooth so that doesn't matter to me) , an inch piece of lemon just makes it fresher. anyway hope that helps and I know you will make it work. There is no right or wrong with this lifestyle just absolute health. Good luck.
