I think I did myself a huge favor here, and I am basing this on my first week results on Day 5 , and compared to many other blogs and postings I have read.  How did I do it? Because I started cleaning out my refrigerator, cupboards, pantry, and shelves about 2-3 weeks before the Raw Balance initiative.  In my opinion, this has made ALLLLL the difference.  By 23 September, many of the poor foods were eaten, given away, or put together in potlucks.  I barely shopped for 2 weeks, gave away long-forgotten items I no longer wanted, and started working towards stocking raw items. The Result: my first week is now going swimmingly. I am already at about 70% raw and doing really well. No major fall-offs and while not 100% I'm still in a really groovy place right now.... :-)

Awesome!

And I love that you use the word groovy-I use it so much a co-worker calls me "groovatron".

But I don't know what that means.
