Raw Food Rehab

No rigid rules, labels or dogmas.... just REAL food, for your body, mind & soul!

Hello All

I have been raw for about three years now and I have to say that it has been one hecker of a challenge.  I've lost a considerable amount of weight and gained some insight and wellness of how I think about things.  I've created good habits and got rid of old habits.  However, I have been hearing about these "natural" products that I have worked for losing weight.  Garcinia Cambosia and Green Coffee Bean Extract.  If these products are so great why don't we just eat the fruit to gain its weight loss properties?  Coffee to me is not a good thing but how does it work in its natural, young state?  Would you say it's the same as having that morning cup a' joe? And would it be something that I would want to put into my temple?

Please anyone feel free to add your opinion.

Green coffee bean extract wouldn't be the same as drinking a 'cup a' joe.' Coffee beans are roasted which reduces the amount of chlorogenic acid which is a powerful antioxidant. Research has shown that people using pure green coffee bean extract have been able to lose weight, it may also reduce blood pressure, and high cholesterol as well as remove toxins from the body.

I don't know much about Garcinia Cambogia, so I cannot respond about that one. What I have been able to find is that although it can help with weight loss, you need to be careful about where you get it. I am not sure they are a 'fruit' that is readily available like apples, lemons or oranges.

As with any health issue, it is good to do your own research so you understand that benefits and risks associated with any treatment that is recommended.
