Hi friends ~ The GO FRESH Initiative is well underway and I thought I'd do a scan of what's fresh and new in my life since we began 30 days ago. Today I cleaned out my fridge. This is one of my least favorite house keeping activities, I tend to just put things in the fridge, and hope for the best, make space as I can and take out the science experiments as needed. But hey I love my fresh sparkling greens and colorful veggies, I cherish the raw energy I receive from them, so I realized it was time to clean house and create a place of beauty, order and honor. I took everything out, even the bins and the glass trays, hosed everything down, washed, scrubbed and sparkled. Then replaced only the veggies, nuts, drinks and condiments that have a place in my raw world.
I also am sprouting for the first time in a very long time. I set up an area for three sprouting jars and I've got mung beans, garbanzos and sunflowers going. AND I created a mini-garden in a space outside my front door where there is no earth - but thanks to the Earth Box and a canvas shoe rack I have lettuce, parsley, cilantro and kale growing! I have also gotten more consistent about moving my body - 3 or is it 4 hikes this week and 2 gym sessions with rebounder jumps in the interim. I am feeling FRESH and grateful. I enjoy the raw way of being, and I love being here with all of YOU! Have a wonderful weekend everybody.
