A coworker said, “You look like you are floating above it all today” I pondered that for awhile and came up with this:
If you are floating above it all you could be in a relaxed meditative state where nothing bothers you and things just go along smoothly, you see clearly and calmly what is happening around you. (That is how I feel today)
Or you could be floating too high, disconnected with yourself, not being solidly grounded, not thinking clearly and just plain spacey. If you are accident prone, bump into things and don’t watch where you are going you need to come down from your cloud, take some deep breaths, feel your feet connected to the ground and get back in your body.
Those of us who have gone raw for the first time soon find out that you are connecting with your body on several levels. You might be very emotional one day and the next you are bubbling with energy and the next you just want to lay down to sleep for hours.
It is important to listen. Listen to what your body wants and try your best to give it what it needs. Be Gentle with yourself as feelings ebb and flow. Just as if you step in a river the water is not the same water you stepped into for it is ever flowing, swirling and changing. Go with the flow, acknowledge what is in front of you and let it go.
Be Happy you have a living, breathing, brilliant vessel that is pulsing with energy and taking you places you have never gone before. Since we were born most of our world has been cooking and your body has never experienced this way of raw EVER! All of it is new and exciting and deep in your soul you know your body loves you for it. Even if all you can accomplish is a smoothie your body is still soaking it in and becoming healthier.
