I have a review class for a national test that is coming up next Saturday....

So I am up early and wanted to see how the first attempt at making some crackers out of juice pulp.  Well they are shaped like patties not crackers, except they are round like some crackers. They weren't dry! So the dehydrator is back on and we shall see what happens before I leave. 

What a deal now I need to keep track of timing on these things so I might want to put a dry erase thingy by the dehydrator till I transfer the info into a spreadsheet.  Oh has anyone ever gotten heavier eating raw?  I think I could!!

Well I am happy to report that I ate my first try at dehydrating the pulp from the juicer.  were they great?  Not really...  But hey I added  salt and put them on the rack and that was it.   They were to thick...a little "stringy" and they tasted pretty good with some laughing cow cheese.  oh and I think I added to much salt....  Funny thing Jane I am a lover of gadgets.... So now fill me on the other raw food gadgets?  I need to start a wish list!!! 

I hope as I learn that my life becomes more and more raw.  For me I think it might be a good thing..  Need to start sprouting for some added variety and punch.... 

My next try is the kale chips.... Maybe Monday is Kale day..

Hi Renee,

Of all the “raw food gadgets” a dehydrator has never been top of my list to buy (probably because I’m not 100% raw).  But I’m a great juicer, so I love the idea of making crackers out of fruit and vegetable pulp!  I hope yours turned out well :-)
