Real Food Rehab

No rigid rules, labels or dogmas.... just REAL food, for your body, mind & soul!

So to begin my second day at this wonderful event ;I had enjoyed yoga so much on day one that I started the day with yoga. What a wonderful peaceful way to begin the day. I then enjoyed the breakfast that the wonderful family of Chef Wanda Abioto lovingly prepared for us, and right after attended her talk that was very enlightening. What a beautiful family they are. They have a cafe in Portland, OR called The Green Lady Cafe. If you are ever in Portland be sure to go there and eat the wonderful food that they provide.

Afterward I attended a question and answer session with Dave & Tresa. Have I told you how absolutely wonderful these two are? They really are two of the most loving and caring people that I have had the priviledge of meeting. I feel that they have been a catalyst in my life.

Next I went to a presentation given by Gabrielle & Thomas Chavez "Compass of Grace Plenary Presentation" that was awe inspirering. I will be following up with this presentation information and learning more of Compass of Grace.

For lunch, which is next on our schedule we were prepared a loving and delishious meal from Chef Shanti Moon. She is a lovely sweet woman who has overcome many challanges in her life. I felt blessed to have met her, and she is a great chef! The best part of this of course is that I was able to sit next to Dave and listen to him talk some more. His cousin was there for this event with his wife and this made sitting at the table enlightening on Dave and his family. We had a great time and I feel very priviledged to have the opportunity to share this time with such a warm and loving person. He is genuine and down to earth and one

Did I tell you all that all through out the time we were here that there was a Juice Bar open. Let me share one of the recipes.

Super Green

200 gm celery

100 gm kale

100 gm spinach

100 gm bok choi

1/2" of ginger

1/2 of a lemon

Juice and drink!

Susan LaMaster present a talk on "Transforming you Kitchen and Pantry to Support Healthy Eating" which was a great presentation.  Followed by her husband Steven Bailey, ND who spoke again on "What You Need to Know About Juice Cleansing.

Next I sat in on Eric Christenson talking " It's Alive - Fermented Foods". He was very interesting and I so enjoyed to view while listening to him talk.

Peace & Blessings

Shanti Moon talked about her life in a presentation called " Creating Allergy and Gluten Free Menus"

We then went to the Presenter's Panel and Closing Circle to call it a day and the end of our wonderful Event.

But for me the best is yet to come, as I was able to stay afterward and talk for a few hours with Dave, Tresa and some of our Raw Food Rehab members! This was so warm and wonderful! Every single person I met gave me joy to my heart and I feel so priviledged to have shared time with them. They are special people that I hope to get to know better. And so after talking for hours I had to reluctantly pull myself away and travel back home.

Thanks for taking the time to read of my wonderfully life changing adventure. I truely wish that you all could have participated with us and were able to share the wonderous blessings of  loving people in the community of Raw Living  Freinds in the flesh. Peace & Blessings!

I loved reading this so much....thank you for allowing me to feel as though I was almost with you!  It saddened me when I had to make the decision to not be there, but it was one of those things that ultimately was for the best.  Now I have such a sense of joy after reading of your glorious experiences.  Thank you sooooo much for all the details, I enjoyed every morsel!  Love you!
