Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!

I used to work at a Big Box store with a lady about 20 or so years older than me.  When I met her she was already sick.  In the two years I work there she nearly died, twice.  She had a prolapsed uterus, diabetes, high blood pressure, you name it.  Medications out the wazzoo and she was still miserable.

Every day I brought in my 32oz. bottle of green smoothie.  She even tried it.  I told her about the testimonials of people who got rid of their diabetes by simply drinking 32oz of green smoothie.  She looked up Victoria Boutenko and I gave her my Green For Life book by Victoria.

Today was the first time I have seen this wonderful lady since I left the Big Box store.  She looked healthy and acted like she felt better than ever before.

She told me that I had hooked her on green smoothies.  She was taking vitamins and supplements and loves her Chlorella.  She did have a hysterectomy for the prolapsed uterus but said she recovered well.  The best news?  She was off all her medications and no more diabetes!  At her last doctor appointment they told her there was no signs of diabetes in her eyes!

Her husband has seen her change and after a couple near-death events in the past two years, he is now taking supplements and Chlorella and I think she said he was doing smoothies as well.

This is the best testimonial!  I get goosebumps just thinking about her and how great she looks after nearly two years of green smoothies.

yes, dear Bette - I do know. And my friend knows (from her own studies and from seeing the transformation in me).

Yet addiction to sugar can be a powerful pull in the downward direction. This is tricky territory for friendship. I pray that the recent assessment from her health practitioner may be the wake up call. I think of folks like Joe Cross and others and know that the turn-around is totally possible and available.

Janet, you know, offer to work with her adding in simple changes. Green juice and smoothies (you know) take on a LIFE all their own in a body and make it happen! (but you know). <3

checking back in on this thread. I just got off of the phone with my dearest friend who got some disturbing news from her health practitioner - early (or even not so early) signs of diabetes are showing up. My friend is struggling.

She "knows" what she would need to do to make changes - and she is in huge resistance. I am treading lightly - offering my unconditional love, sharing my perspective on the things that have worked for me to make changes in my food choices from a place of joy and delight rather than from 'shoulds' and 'thou shalt nots'. I am praying for her as well. May the light of love lift the old patterns and light the way forward. Blessings to all.

That is the best story.......makes me feel so good to know someone 'got it'.   I bring my quart of green smoothie to work everyday and some of my co-workers have tried it...but haven't had a convert yet.  There is a tenant who rents office space from us on our floor, who is obese and has all the health issues to go along with it....but I haven't seen an opportunity to share anything although I dearly would love to.  It is hard to see all that he goes through, and how hard it is for him to move around, breath, etc. and the large cokes and fast food that he eats on a daily basis.  I don't think he cooks for himself at all.  Oh....any ideas on an appropriate way to even suggest anything?  Sometimes...you just gotta send the good thoughts and let it go....but if any one has any ideas I'd love to hear them.

Beautiful testimonial for just being your self, letting the love flow and sharing what works for you, Hot Ta-Molly.
