As in former blog I started back into RAW about a week ago (after being mad, seeing I had gained weight and then going off RAW and eating all that my naturopath told me not to eat coffee, chocolate,dairy etc.). Anyway back on RAW and just going straight to RAW, (before when starting RAW first did a 10 day detox). Anyway some symptoms I am hoping are just part of detoxing is what feels like my BONES are aching in my legs, and the small of my back and in my teeth. Anyone have experience with this?

Comment by Jason Littlewolf on October 27, 2012 at 12:47pm Eat hot food....i.e chilli, ginger google Chinese hot and cold foods and you will find lists of fruit and veg that are either hot or cold or neutral..i use this and it keeps the cold out ..really works..you sound cold to me....and need a boost :)
Yoga and tai chi are also great things to do, as it helps the circulation of chi, and blood etc and so toxins dont sit around and it helps the body move things faster.

I would do more greens than fruits if this is how you are feeling, and yes, it definitely could be detox. If it gets to be too much, then eat a bit of cooked VEGAN food.....only very healthy not processed vegan food, such as a nice soup or some cooked veggies. Last night I made a very yummy vegetable dish with potatoes, carrots, golden yellow beets (optional), fennel and onion. Cut everything small, thin, and season with salt, pepper and thyme. I also added some champagne vinegar (or lemon juice would work well) which I thought added a nice touch. It is delicious and nutritious!

I have done lots of raw before, never had those symptoms you are speaking of, but I have had folks say they have and it felt like they had the flu is how they described it. They said it too shall pass!! I just wanted to encourage you and let's stay in touch and encourage each other through this health and wellness journey!
