Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!
Good Morning!
I hope that this finds my fellow raw foodies doing amazing. I want to thank you all for your support and your cheers..truly ..its amazing.
So here we are another day two, but I figure at least I am here. I am starting the day with water....as I always do...and I am feeling alright.
I had a cooked dinner last night of blue potatoes and onions from our garden, but it was vegan and I feel good about it. I dont feel like I am biting to much off where its not doable long term. I had a bit of a headache last night, but I thinking thats because I spent the day in the field planting more blueberry plants . We got 10 new plants in and today I am planting some more cherry and plum trees. I also have some spinach seeds too put in the ground. We shall see.
Overal I feel good. I really look forward to the day that I am 100 % raw...and I am hoping in a few months you will see day one of being 100% raw. I think I am going to give myself about two months to ease into it. Right now I am raw for breakfast, lunch and snacks. A vegan dinner or at least vegetarian, but heading more towards vegan. I have t be content with that . My energy hasnt come back from the weekend of awful eating, but I am here .
Anyway, day looks like this
Breakfast ; vega smoothie with srawberries
Lunch: Vitality soup
Dinner : Depends what we take out of the garden
Snacks : Fruit and banana 'ice cream" ...I have bananas frozen in the freezer.
It continues to amaze me how this journey is soooooo much more then food. I am dealing with so much bigger isues then just food. There is an emotional side to it all as well.

I agree with you that this "journey is sooooooo much more than food." I love that about it!
Such a surprise to me that as I replace my "numbing" foods with life-giving vibrant nourishment, I have to find other ways of dealing with my emotions. This leads me to want a simpler life and to let go of relationships, activities, habits, and things that no longer serve my greatest good. It also makes me want to get out and explore, move, create, smile, appreciate, forgive others, enjoy today, love and be loved.
Who knew that the produce section of the supermarket offered so much?
