Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!

Day One and Two!

Even though it has only been two days but on the morningof day two.. As I glanced in the mirror all I could think of 'wow'.

It may have just been all in my mind but glancing back at me was a noticibly slimmer face!

The leaness of my cheekbones, my eyes were now wider!

Some of the fluid rentention that was annoying taking its place, making my cheeks all pudgy and a roll under my chin had just seemed to have dissapeared.

Ok ok, Now onto how i went with Day ONE

Day One was actually not very eventful at all, since i was working very late afternoon and into the night, I actually slept for most of the day! Like.... an hour before i had to go to work!.... wow! But the sleep was just so desperatley needed. Waking up I didnt feel hungry or crave anything AT ALL, so just in case I packed a few bottles of cold pressed RAW green juice I picked up at a store on my way to work.

But after work and when I got home.... THE HUNGER MONSTER revealed its ugly head! Pacing my room still wide awake and wanting that emotional fullness of food..... Doing a relaity check with myself I grabbed a big lot of poster paper and on the room of my bedroom floor I make a huge list of Benefits and Why I was doing this juice cleanse..

Having something like this (one to distract me) and Two! to reafirm my determination and goals... I mean, come on- How crappy would I feel having let myself down to cave in!... After drinking more juice and putting on a movie, I eventually fell asleep very content.

Day TWO.

WOW! :) waking up feeling very light and full of energy I bounced out of bed and felt like going for a jog/walk around our local 6km lake.. Doing That felt fantastic!

All day drinking fresh Delish vegetable juices... OMG the smell of Basil just drives me wild xx

But Then...... Invited to watch 'the boy' play a game of indoor soccor, I jumped at the chance to be involved and see him play and also hang out with a couple of his friends who i was meeting for the first time :D

After the game... The boys declared Time to through the dreaded golden arches and even a KFC run! eeeeeeeek!

Im never one to eat fast food but the smell was both disgusting but my mouth was salvilating watching the guys shove down burgers and chips into their lean bodies!

Offering me chips and knowing the guys AND MY GUY  were looking, I regretfully grabbed a handful and preceeded to eat them.... :(

After leaving his place with the taste and sensation of food I hate to admit this but i went to the supermarket and just couldnt tear myself away from grabbing vegetarian mince and salad ingredients, then getting home to make a meal that was both cooked and raw.

Only slept 4 hours last night :(  The food was like this heavy brick.

Waking up with this heavy feeling, bloated, puffy.

No this is not failure (Tempted to think it and upset with myself)

Putting myself back together and craving The juice :)

Colette Doran - It's all starting to click in! I can't believe the difference I am now feeling :D

Tinacristina- Thank you so much! Your words are so encouraging and yes ' Getting back to it and giving myself permission". The difference I feel when wating Raw is just incredible- Easier digestion, feel so light and not weighed down. The immediate difference if I eat less Raw is so profound.

I have to share, for the rest of our lives there is times when we are out and let's face it....temptations, celebrations, etc...are there...so be it. ....I guess the point here is if you give yourself permission to give in 2 or 3 x's a week to such things, it's ok as long as your eating raw 80 or 95% of the time..that's ok....just get back to it and if your have more days eating raw then the little bits won't hurt you...hang in there girl! I think Karla made a good point there too..

Aw thats a shame you felt the need to fit in and eat chips but you got back on track, i just think about my body having to process that stuff and it puts me off right away :)
