Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!
Just when I thought things were going to get a little easier, well they just got twice as hard. Yup, my funds have been cut in half and I can't get extra hours at work. So frustrating. I don't qualify for help but I don't have enough to make ends meet. I have no money for groceries at this point until Friday.
Frustration! Yes, it is time for those miracles to happen! I know God comes in at the last minute. Have seen that happen before. So I have faith that my miracle is going to happen just in the nic of time.
What I do have going for me? Well I have a great attitude, I am healthy, I am praising God in all things! I have stone soup left over!:O) None of my bills are currently behind.I do have a job were many do not. I have hope and I have the joy of the Lord as my strength.
I have a passion for helping others and I am counting on God to bless my efforts. He promises us to be the head and not the tail. I am trusting him to take care of my needs.
I have the faith of a grain of a mustard seed...
I also know I am not the only one struggling in this economy. Many are frustrated. But were there is a will, there is a way.
I feel so very fortunate to know what I need to do to stay healthy and avoid a health crisis. What a hugh blessing that is all in itself!;O)
God is my rock and my salvation and he will get me through my situation.
May you have a magnificent Wednesday and may you feel empassioned about your health journey. Stay the course and count yourself blessed for finding this path! And above all, share the message with others so they too can find peace and health from simple pure nutrition.
Addendum: Just found out I can qualify for the insurance even though I don't qualify for help with food. What a relief! Honestly I would rather not have help with food, I would much rather work for a living but I also know that there are times when those services are very much needed by individuals and am glad that they are there for those who need it. I don't believe that those benefits should be cut, I think it would be great if congress and those who are making these decisions would consider cutting their own incomes and learn to manage on less themselves.
I had checked earlier in the year and the price for healthcare insurance at the cheapest rate was $450 a month for me and the kids. I definately cannot afford that. Now I must say, I DO NOT INTEND TO USE THIS! I hate forced healthcare insurance. I do not believe in what is going on right now. It is a very unconstitutional and inefficient system. We should NOT be forced to participte in a system we do not believe in for care that does not work. I do not agree with mainstream medicine and how they handle disease, in fact I think they add to and also create disease. I do believe we need emergency room services and there are times when surgery is necessary obviously, but for the most part the rest of the system is just managed legal drug use that is never going to lead to good health. I have a background in radiology and so have seen this first hand. It is not just an arrogant opinion. Unfortunately I am not able to work in my field of training. I am not alone in this, many have lost their jobs and been forced to take early retirement or find other jobs because of the changes going on. I am not able to work in my field because I am not currently registered since I have been a stay at home mom for the past 13 years. I will never regret staying home with my children though because I believe it is my first and most important priority. Also I have issues with my thyroid and the radation is cummulative and is very damaging to the thyroid. I have known of about four radiologist who passed away from cancer since I left the field. I know that the radiation exposure does in fact play a part in causing cancer especially when you are exposed to it day in and day out in a working environment.
One final note: You may not agree with my opinions stated and that is okay. We can agree to disagree. My intent is not to offend anyone but inform others of things that can improve their health. I also do not believe in throwing the baby out with the bath water so yes we do need healthcare especially in emergency situations, I am not bashing mainstream medicine and saying it is all bad. I believe it is possible to have integrative care and if we would take our own health into our hands and concentrate on prevention it would save far more money in the long run. Just my two cents worth for the day.:O)
Lesson learned: I can set up a coorporation for my business that will help me until I can get things rolling. It will protect me in many ways financiallly. Good to know...working on that.It pays to have smart friends who can help guide you in financial/business matters.Learning as I go.
