Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!
Of course when this 90 days is up, I will continue with my healthy habits. But the 90 days is significant because it is a matter of establishing healthy habits and a positive mental attitude. I believe journaling helps to keep me focused and on track and conscious of the changes going on. It allows me to slow down my life abit, take time to think, and embrace life.Today is going to be a day to embrace some sun and get my Vit D on. Looking forward to soaking it in this afternoon. It is amazing how healing that can be. So thankful it is Friday. I get paid and I don't work again until Sunday. Well except for my things I do at home but I am looking forward to cleaning out some things and continuing my effort to cull things down to simplicity. It feels good!
It is almost symbolic of what I am doing with my body. Cleaning out things that are no longer needed and restoring health and order and peace of mind. A friend of mine once told me that your living space is a reflection of the state of your life and what is going on with it. I must say I have to agree.
I like simplicity and to have things in order because it actually saves time when you have a place for everything and everything in its place. This is not to say I have everything in that manner, it is a work in progress. A basic law of physics is that everything moves to a state of disorder.
That being said, it is a daily effort and task to keep things in order, with our bodies as well as our environments. It takes focusing each day and planning ahead. Sometimes things don't go as planned but they go much closer to plan when we put the effort into having a plan. Otherwise you have no ability to track your progress.
Many times lack of success is due to poor planning. None of us plan to fail, but we sometimes fail to plan.
TGIF, enjoy your weekend!
