When I really stop to ponder eating for me is more social & emotional then nutritional. I think we are socialized to use food as expression and comfort. When we are happy we eat, sad we eat, to celebrate accomplishment ...and so on. When I am about to eat something today I am going to stop and consider it's nutritional value. I am going to really make an effort today to feed my mind positive thoughts, body nutritional things, and give my spirit the permission to guide me to a more whole way living. I will give thought to what I feed my mind, body, and spirit.
