Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!
Just wanted to share these photos. I'm new on here and am inspired to lose 84 pounds! I ballooned up to 252! I was 166! My inspiration came from watching Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead. I blogged about my inspiration and what got me started.
On my blog you can also see my posts with my blood lab work results, as I raised my good cholesterol 30 points and my 'bad' is so good that the doctor said I am the healthiest person he has coming through his office, with the exception I am still "technically" obese... but he can see that is going to not be an issue soon.
I'm a husband, father and am determined to get my life back! I have dropped over 40 pounds in 35 days and I KNOW for sure that I feel more energized and more alive than I have in 5 years! I feel like I'm a 22 year old! It is awesome! I started a blog to keep myself in check. I now know that others are seeing it too, so I am sharing my story (as it unfulds) with the world! I copied and pasted these photos from my blog. Which I will not link in here, per the community rules. :-) Thanks Penni.
I am currently looking for the BEST vegan recipes that I can find, so that I can share them with my wife. I'm good to juice for another 50 or so days... she however, she wants "real food" that she can "chew!" She is always asking me; "Do you miss eating?" I tell her; "No. And it isn't like I can't chew food or eat. I am electing to do this. I am choosing to juice my vegetables and fruits."
If you are reading this and have some ALL time favorite MEAL recipes that are vegan / 'raw' please feel free to link your blog in the comment, send me a message or leave the entire recipe below... I'm so serious! I feel like if I can compile the tastiest meals ever for her, she will stick to this lifestyle. I know it is her choice. And she has made the decision to try it. Now I am doing all I can to show her the best of it. Any help would be and will be greatly appreciated!
P.S. My wife and I finally took down the sleigh door hanger last night... our little one liked playing with it so we left it up. It is now put away... yes, I know it is February. :-)
