Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!
Having always enjoyed whole body, whole person considerations in the presence of health conditions, I had a wonderful experience/happening this past week.
For me, things get really to the heart of the matter when I can talk with a client on an emotional level. They are doing well on their food and feeling better and then we can talk emotions!
So enter a woman with thyroid challenges, although seeking support in other areas, the thyroid concern is always there! This is being treated by a medical practioner.
Making suggestions, as I do, I encourage her to look at where/if this thyroid might be connected with a block in creativity.
Following Louise Hay, I always see what she has to say about conditions as related to emotions, so I saw fit to pose this idea. Here is what she said: “Look in the mirror and ask (your sick thyroid), ‘how can I love you back to life’?” Thyroid problems she said, after she sat quietly in thought for a bit, are all about creativity being blocked. She then explained that many women feel torn up by the pressure to be all things. And their creative self gets blocked.
Presently it to her, she acknowledges it immedietly, in an AHA! moment, that her creativity was stopped as a child.
More interestingly is this: we had not seen her numbers (anti-bodies) budge at all, since we began ten weeks ago. A few days after she acknowledged this block, her numbers dropped dramatically, to her astonishment as well as her dr's.
Side note is that this is all related to her other challenges, which are all resolving too, slowly but surely! Power of greens baaaaybaaay!
Now, even though she had been juicing and doing many things, her numbers did not move until this moment of seeing what it was emotionally!
Even more interestingly, she is in a group of people with thyroid imbalances. She then saw them, women who are wannabees (in a city where everyone goes for a hope for fame and fortune), as creatively stopped as well. They are all married to partners who are practicing the very thing they wish to so but are not doing it themselves, although it is their dream!
Some good advice to heal yourself:
Always be willing to ask a couple of questions when you have symptoms of any dis-ease:
1) When did this start, what was happening at the time in my life?
2) What might this be connected to emotionally that I can acknowledge and move on? (you might be surprised how many people are unwilling to go there!)
And if you have thyroid concerns check in with your creativity blocks and get creating! Have a voice and express it, get it out. What you don't express will eat you from the inside out!
Love from my creative heart to yours! Muah! Bette

New client today, same challenges. Hmmm? Imagine helping a whole slew of people get free of their blocks to creativity......WOW!
Gotta love this life! <3
pssst Lucy, you are more than you imagine yourself to be! WAAAAAAY more. Why look Maureen loves green bubbles!!! Seee!
You are welcome Lucy! Tis what it is all about. She is in a whole community of people and I am going to be doing a teleclass for them. Imagine how they feel after seeing her have a breakthrough in her health and her creativity! Hope and Inspiration! We all can use it.
Yes Maureen, we love green bubbles!
Thank you, Bette. I find these kinds of accounts very helpful as I work to unravel some of my own habitual and unconscious thoughts about who I believe I am and what I think I am capable of in my life. Hearing about someone else's process of coming to greater self-awareness is always very interesting to me.
Green bubbles...... dont we all loooove bubbles!
Well, my girl had such an opening around her creativity being blocked, that she has made a huge step!
She is going from being a writer for singers and coming front and center and being a lead singer!
I heard her sing this week...OH MY! She is amazing! Such a wonderful gift to be able to help another with their health and life! woweee!
I apologize that I left out her actual message. I have inserted it above in orange (joy and creativity colors!).
Thank you Maureen. EFT is great and I use it with clients (and myself) as a powerful healing tool!
Ms Em, Thank you, I am happy it touched you. Oh no it is not scary nor daunting, only when you want it fixed yesterday.
You are right on: what is already there, say "yes I see you, I hear you, I feel you. It is okay and we are free now to live a life WE choose." Followed by big hugs for yourself (one from me too <3)
....and I send you comfort and love, as always! YOU have it all inside and your inner wisdom is waiting to heal you, just be still ask ask it too. <3
Comment by Emily on September 13, 2012 at 1:16am Wow! Great stuff here, Bette! Has a very personal meaning for me as well. I struggle with a situation similar to your client's. I love your positive and helpful approach. Makes it seem less daunting and scary. Really, we are just looking at ourselves, what is already there, and acknowledging in order to RELEASE. That is comforting and helpful to remember. Very happy for your client!!! xoxox
