Corporate Wellness. Making life a party with a little prep and creative presentation!

Corporations everywhere are looking to lower healthcare costs for their employees with wellness programs.  There is a huge need for inspiring speakers to come and share their experiences and success in healthy living.  Perhaps this is something you are interested in doing, or supporting?

I have been invited to put together a 30 minute presentation for a corporate wellness "lunch and learn" for 35-50 people.  Employees may or may not desire to make changes to their diets, but can earn points by being there. I welcome your thoughts on how to inspire these people to simply add more fresh produce to their diets by making it fun and easy.

With a little preparation, and creative presention, fruits and vegetables can become fabulous party foods. Why not make every day a party?  Enjoy your fancy plates and bowls, toothpicks, skewers, and fancy glasses!

I would love to put together a little slide show of perhaps a refrigerator that looks like an inviting salad bar and pictures of surprisingly easy and creative presentations of snacks and meals.

I've decided to avoid mentioning the removal of anything from the diet when addressing those that are not seeking diet changes.  They will hear a bit of my journey and current food choices, and how the more I add the better I feel. My focus will be on fun ways to add produce and listening to our bodies after a meal. I hope they will crowd out less healthy choices with new habits and baby steps.

Do you know of pictures that would be great to show to get playful with produce? What tips makes grabbing a fruit or veggie to eat easier and more appealing for you?  Please share in the reply's below!  Love, Lynda

My showstopper for the under fives at food week (I think it translates upwards)-a little celery stick with a strip of fresh date on it -"caterpillar on a log! -no doubt scary for some!! Good to introduce the idea of fresh dates (people usually think of dry hard ones) and because they are so sweet and you dont need much it compensates for the higher price. Also putting savoury and sweet together --a real mind blower! :)

has to be tasted to be appreciated. Cheers and all the best.

Make no mistake, Supermom! A As a future Fitness trainer, I'll definately play with produce and teach my clients how to have fun eating their produce!
