Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!
I'm a bit new here. I don't know if I'm posting this in the right location.
Anyway, I've had a candida issue for a few years. I found the raw food community after the "Candida Diet" failed me. My body took to fruit immediately, and suddenly glucose was going to my brain! Horray!
I've been on and off with raw for half a year. The most I've done consecutively 100% raw, is 7 days. And I did feel much better then. I know I have to continue with raw. But I was wondering about cooked food, and if I should incorporate that into my diet. I know that 80/10/10 is about low fat, but I was wondering if I can be a low fat COOKED vegan?
From my horribly run trails, where I also have an eating disorder, I haven't been able to really tell what symptoms come from what. I don't know if it's the food I'm eating and I'm getting sensitive to it, if it's the fact that it's the cooked food, if it's because I may have combined fats and sugar in too close a time increment, if it's detox.
Basically, I wanted to know if anyone has information on being a low fat COOKED vegan with candida, and if it's possible. I think my body is telling me to have a high raw diet, maybe not 100%. Perhaps cooked quinoa won't upset my body, but for example, I made chili last night with kidney beans, tomatoes, etc, and I had a bad reaction. Is it the starchy beans, is it the fact that's cooked, was it the tomatoes that I think once caused a flare up.
If anyone can help me, that would be amazing!
