Maybe you have not made optimum choices for yourself for whatever reason....
Don't focus on all the reasons why...focus on getting back to now!!!!
Take some much needed time for yourself! Us Moms often neglect taking care of us over all our responsibilities in taking care of our households! I am guilty of this too!
I suggest that you find whatever YOU need and fill it...Maybe it is simply reading a book, soaking your feet or your whole body for that matter, in a epsom salt bath. Maybe it is going for a walk...etc. (This is my list)
Sometimes I do these types of things for me even when the dishes pile up and there is laundry to fold. No one is going to take 15 min breaks for me or put me on a mental vacation for a day. I have to do it for me.
: ) Stress levels run high when we do not take time for us. I have to pretend I am one of the kids who has special needs so I will take care of me!
Do not take even one precious minute to beat yourself up*** for making less than optimum eating choices!
Simply...Make the Next Bite RAW!!!
Mark time outs for yourself on the calendar like you do for the other family's events...when our kids have something like soccer practice or the husband is going golfing....
Write in YOUR me time...just disguise it with other words like, I don't know...prep time, house manager meeting (with yourself) spa day (whatever you need), closet meeting, (cleaning out the closets, and then sit and there and read for awhile!!) laundry lunch (lock yourself away in the laundry room and relax), Bedroom rearranging (take a nap!) hahahaha ...
Sometimes in plain sight of everyone DO NOTHING and shock them!!!...get creative ...let me know what YOU come up with! It will aid me, too!!
Ahem...and don't forget to get your daily requirements of GREENS through Green Smoothies and Juices!!
