I had a good experience with yoga....ate nearly 80% raw and then started daily yoga classes for a month - I then signed up for another month because I enjoyed it so much. I think the yoga helped to connect me more to myself :). Good luck and enjoy the journey !
YES! But it does subside. I have found, that for me (maybe not everyone) that I have stages of detox accompanied with anxiety. Detox can bring to the surface lots of emotions and things deep within in us that need to be dealt with on many levels, not just physical, but also spiritually, and emotionally.....this is normal. To me, I feel like it means we are beginning to heal on a deeper level, one that we may not know that we needed to deal with or had buried deep inside our emotional self, along of course with just the physical detox. This possibly can be the power of raw food and the healing that comes with it.
Of course, anxiety and panic attacks can be other things as well, I am not a doctor. I hope that my experience was helpful to you.
YES ~ greens, greens, greens! Soooo calming. Especially in the form of green smoothies. :) *Hugs* ~ Tanni
This is very interesting most people don't notice the connection to raw food. This anxiety is not a bad thing. It is because you are becoming clearer, more clarity about you and your life and sometimes it is anxiety driven because there are some changes to take place. Things become more clear about what you want, what you are doing that you don't like to do and you now have the knowledge ( universal energy) to make changes. You will get more intuition. Where are you with enlightment information, spiritual, one never knows how to refer to that area. This is actual a very exciting time and you can change you outlook to think exciting rather than anxious.
See how that goes.
I think maybe you can try to change your focus along with deep breathing exercises, long walks and lots of green juices...
Are you having more or less anxiety on raw foods? I think raw foods are over all beneficial when dealing with anxiety, but it can increase it at first. Like Bette said, exercise can be really helpful.
The increase in energy sometimes looks like panic attacks or anxiety, if not exerted in exercise.
Also cleaning the body can bring up old stuff and emotions that might need addressing.
