Bernando actually just turned 110. He still skips around the kitchen and keeps his life really simple. An awesome living example!

Yep Linda he's very inspiring in person in these videos and in his book.  His top ten foods are:

Blueberries (buy these now & stock the freezer, I hear that there will be a big price increase this year because of a poor crop), olive oil, garlic (also this was a big one for the Delany sisters, two of whom lived to past 100), quinoa, cinnamon, broccoli, cabbage, beans, avocado and cantaloupe. 

 

He's not strictly raw, but mostly so.  I believe if I remember correctly he eats some cooked fish & obviously some cooked grains.

Thanks, Sassafrass!  I've watched Bernando once before and didn't write down the name of his book.  I hope to find his book now that I have the title again.  My favorite part of this interview is watching Bernando walking down the hallway with a stable stride and great posture!

This was so great!!!! Wow, a 108!!!  I need to read his book! I love the 1 oz of prevention is worth a 1,000 lbs of cure!
