I wasn't very focused today, as I should be on my raw. But I started out with a green smoothie, that didn't happen until about 11:30 though. Just was busy, with Vern being home (he is laid off this week) and him wanting to get firewood in before the predicted blizzard.
Was really hungry, and cold tonight. Bridger and I were in the old Jeep, and the heat went out in that. So was trying to drive through the woods with very limited vision because of the windows frosting over. Then it was pretty much dark by the time we got the second load of wood back home. And the horses were out. Naughty buggers. When we got in and I got warmed up, I remembered I had some collard chips in the dehydrator, and munched on those. I was pretty well satisfied with those. But did make a really really yummy ice cream tonight. I put in frozen bananas, honey, dash of salt, dash of vanilla, coconut oil, dried coconut and raw cacao. What a treat. Even if it was frozen. I warmed up later with a tea concoction of sorts, fresh squeezed lemon juice, honey, ginger and cayenne.
I did a photo shoot for my boss on Sunday afternoon. I was so mad at myself, because I had two cameras. One takes regular AA batteries, and the Canon has two rechargeable batteries. I took video tape with the Fuji and ran out of batteries. Then we moved on to the Canon for portrait photos, and I just barely snapped about 20 or so photos before one of the batteries went, put in the other, and got another 20 or so photos. I lucked out though, as we had some really great shots. I worked all morning this morning Photoshoping and playing and sent them to her. She was so delighted with them. I am so excited. It was on short notice though, so I didnt have much time to prepare. She called Sunday morning to ask me to come over, and I had church, then had to be at her place at 1:00 pm, so really no time at all to plan. It went well, considering. I was really praying a lot.
I had a sale on my Etsy site tonight, so that is exciting. Tried to get a lot of jewelry photos taken so I can upload a few things a day, plus the candles.
I am hoping we can get into town tomorrow before the snow hits. That will first entail Vern fixing one of the two vehicles though. The car is sitting at the farm with a nearly flat tire, and now with the Jeep problem....I hate to think what work will be like on Saturday if we get that much snow. Yuck. I am just not a fan of winter. Mostly because of my job. It wasn't so bad before I had to deliver mail in it. Now it is just too stressful wondering what the weather will be like for work. I've lost many a nights sleep over it and spent hours sobbing my eyes out when I see snow fly on my work days. But you do what you have to do to feed your family, I guess.
Well, it is getting late again, already. Days fly, dont they? Hugs to all, later, T.
