Advice welcome on a used juicer

I am looking a two used juicer on Craig's list. The large orginal Juiceman juicer for $30 and the Breville JE 900 for $40 (this one says it hasn't been used). I have been using small juicers and am on my 3rd one. This is my budget right now so I am not going to save on for the Hurom at this moment. Which one would you choose? (The ones I have used I have only paid $5-$10 for)

I have purchased refurbished items in the past and been very happy.  I bought a refurbished Excalibur dehydrator at a great price.  It even came with a 10 yr warranty from Excalibur.  I know $40 can be a lot of money.  It would be for me but it is something I would really consider.

Hey friends-when I called about the Breville, the man  selling it  said it is refuburished. But in the ad he said that it was new in the box. Does this change anyone's answer? I have never knowing bought anythig refubed so I am not sure what to make of this.

I have a Breville and I adore it it juices wheatgrass and all greens very well. Not too hard to clean which is for me a "must"!!!! (I don't know the other though...)

I would go for the Breville,  as I own one and would buy it again.

I like the Breville over the Juiceman. I like the look of it better and it's containment of the juice and pulp area. My Father-in-law has the juiceman and it would splatter when juicing, the breville is enclosed IF they have the container with the lid on top to catch the juice. BUT maybe they have improved that on the model for sale? Also, with both, a good tip is to put a plastic grocery bag in the pulp container (with some overlapping to the outside, like a trash can) so removal of the pulp is super easy and you don't have to clean the pulp container in either model :) I'd go with the new...that's is an awesome price!

I would also go with the Breville. Good luck on your cleanse!

THanks Wendi! A friend and I are doing the Kris Karr Crazy, Sexy 21 day detox.

I would think the Breville would be the better  choice, especially since it says it hasn't been used!  Hope you have a great time on your cleanse!!  Are you juice fasting/feasting, or something else?

Thanks Bette Bliss. I forgot to say that I am starting a 21 day cleanse on June 1st. So I have to purchase one this weekend.
