A shot of wheat grass

Wheat grass is a very interesting thing. I haven't had a lot of it, but find that I just love it. I had a wheat grass shot this morning and again I was struck by the fact the smell gives me two conflicting emotions. The first one is excitement, because the green smell just makes my mouth water. Then right after that, I think yuck, this is awful, because the smell reminds me of just mowed lawn, which instinct tells me that I'm not suppose to drink. Very strange.

Well I get my emotions in check and then take my first sip ( yes I like to sip a little and then gulp it down). I am in heaven with the first sip! The taste is so sweet and green, it just gets all the juices flowing in my mouth. I roll it around a bit on my tounge to really savor the sweet taste. The second sip is not as sweet and has a sharp bite with a little spiciness that grabs my attention. Then I gulp the rest before that "yuck" feeling gets me. The taste that lingers in my mouth after it is all gone, brings back the sweet first sip feeling, and then I am loving it all over again.

I am so in love with wheat grass!

I need to find a way to get a juicer at home and make myself a shot every morning.

I also get my buckwheat seeds to sprout and other sprouting seeds from them. The prices are great and the company is impeccable in integrity and values. They have every kind of herb or tonic too.

I am with you, all I had to get over was the IDEA of wheat grass. In reality, it is very sweet and tastes better than a lot of other things I have had!

I did not at all like it. I have only purchased at the store so hoping better when home grown and fresh....maybe not though.
