Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!
This week has been great and not so great. My ibs is fine, it only took a few days to get it under control. Normally I would have given up and thought that I would have to start all over again. I pushed through my fears and let whatever happen, happen. It has done a world of good mentally.
That being said, life happens and I wasn't completely in control. I haven't really been in quite some time. But moreso this week, my housemate was around more than usual. My husband was working more and had a stranger schedule. I was pushed out a lot, but that is no excuse.
This week will be better, I am determined to get back. What does everyone think of green powders? I used them a lot in the beginning a few years ago and I loved it. I only stopped because the formula was changed or something and I couldn't stop sneezing. It was called nature's first food, it was so great! But I saw another one here in the uk called udo's greens. I was thinking it could be good when I'm in a pinch. Its quite expensive but so is wasting organic food because I'm not able to use it efficiently.
Another thing I want to try this week is raw soup, I never bothered trying it because I only have a somewhat decent blender. But it doesn't really need to be smooth. Who doesn't like chunky tomato soup? I can make it in the morning and then have it at night instead of my cooked soup I usually have. This would be a huge breakthrough for me because I would be 96 percent raw or something along those lines.
There will be pictures!
Have a great week everyone! I love you all :)

Comment by Barbara on July 16, 2012 at 5:38pm I sometimes use green powders when I need that extra boost. They are also good as a "kick-start" to becoming more alkaline.
I have found raw greens powders to be quite useful. My current favorite (because it is raw and not at all cooked) is Garden of Life Raw Greens Powder....I really notice a lift from it.
I don't bother with any powders. I eat plenty of fruit and greens from my garden--they are so fresh, they have all their nutrients. Raw soups are very refreshing.
Comment by Janet Carol Ryan on July 15, 2012 at 6:37pm Great to hear from you - keep on following the inspiration and discovering the blessings. I have some green powder on hand for times when I want to bump up the nutritional value of my green smoothies. And I LOVE raw soups. Enjoy and have fun.
