Raw Food Rehab

Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!

Hurrah!  I have made it through a whole 30 days of the juice feast, and wanted to give you a little update on how it has gone so far.

I am so happy to have gotten so far with this and not had too rough a ride really.  Times have been challenging but nothing I did not foresee.  I found the first 2 weeks the easiest to be honest and the last 2 weeks to be the most interesting!  I have never been hungry at all, but have craved chewing really badly.

The last week has been the toughest to date as I have hit the emotional detox phase plus the healing has begun on old traumas and illness's.
For the last 5 days I have had really bad back pain, neck pain, nausea and headaches...all centering from the endocrine system of imbalances.

Thankfully I seem to be through the worst of this now and today I feel human again!  I can now fully engage in the feast without the need to have any portions of food to eat ~ During the worst of the days I had to eat some root vegetables to slow down the healing and detoxing process or I think I would have just stayed in bed and not done anything!

So, yes, a little deviation from full on feasting, but, I remained juicing apart from the root vegetables.

The next 30 days will be going even deeper into the healing process and I am eager to see what happens next.

Thank you all for keeping me company ~ it is comforting to know this is not a lone journey

love and peace

Laurie Yes I am finding it invaluable to be part of David's support system...it is a long old journey to be on and there is so much information on the site so it is indeed worth every penny for me.  I could have done it with the info on other sites and on here, and do gain much from our connections here in RFR...But I also love the support on JF too.

Juicing is now high priority for me and always will be...and at the end of it all I hope to join the team as a JF coach xxx

PS...another pound released this weekend...yahoo!

Dawn...have you found it helpful to be part of David Rainoshek's Juice feasting program?  Is it worth every penny?  I too hope you will share more as you go along.  Positives, negatives, revelations!!

Watching with interest and encouraging you on!

congratulations on your commitment and journey ! i have looked at  David Rainoshek juicing program but i guess I was wondering if they offer juicing resipies and tips or is it more of daily info along the lines of keeping your spirits lifted ?  I have done a 28 day juice fast before on my own and am thinking this time around to do like one or two types of juice per day equaling up to i gallon of juice any thoughts ?  this is my first day here on the sight so im not sure if im posting this in the right place but figured that I would give it a shot lol.  thanks for your time good juicing

Your doing so well!  Congratulations  on the healing and weight loss.  Fascinating about the healing in reverse order!!!!  That is amazing and must be wonderful and encouraging to feel that you are healing specific old injuries and sicknesses.

Hey Mae and Laurie how are you both?

I forgot to add that my weight is down 12 lbs as well!

Laurie I'm following the guidance of David Rainoshek and their juice feasting program which outlines how we detox and then heal during extended feasts of more than 30 days.  It has been really helpful to know that all of the stages I have experienced so far are completely normal and will move through quite soon.

Also, over the last year I have been listening to my body more and knowing what little signs mean.

My journey through life has, like many of us, been a rough ride or self abuse and injuries and all that will be healing over the next 60 days.  These life patterns heal in reverse order on a juice feast, so what ever was the last thing or illness will come out first and so on...really interesting stuff to know and kiind of makes you look back as it is happening, like reading a diary of you life, and allowing that process to unfold and heal, with love and grace

Love xxx
