Raw Food Rehab

Adding LIFE to your years and years to your life!

Chuckling, somewhat!  I wrote one blog post, and it was two years ago.  Wowee!!  I actually can't believe that!  BUT, here I am again!  I start tomorrow on my 30 day Raw Food Challenge.  I have three days off to be at home and most likely feel like poo!  But, the third day, should be a move upwards and I am pretty excited.  I contacted an ole' friend, that helped me along this path several years ago.  We meet through a raw food blog, and are still friends more than 10 years later.  I am very excited to be back to my blog and even more excited about getting back to eating healthy again!  Namaste' peeps! Talk to you tomorrow!! ; )

Best of luck to you!  I believe that anyone can do this. It is about will power.  My wife tells me 'I can't believe you are going to drink that' when I make a juice she doesn't think smells good.  Currently I'm on day 36 of a raw (juice only) diet.  I throw everything through my juicer. I set a goal to lose 84 pounds in 84 days.  I entered some weight loss competitions to help motivate me and I also, started a blog.  I did it initially to inspire myself and to keep myself in check.  Then one day someone emailed me and said her, we're reading your blog and love it. Those words inspired me even more.  I wasn't writing for them... but wow! Just knowing that others were reading it too... changed my focus and added more determination.

You are correct, the first 3 days are probably going to be hard.  But totally doable!  I kept my thoughts positive.  Nothing against my wife here, but she started her 'diet' (as she calls it) on Friday and is constantly talking about how bad it is and how 'hungry' she feels.  I try to support her, but sometimes just allowing people the freedom to complain is the best support possible.  I feel for her though, as I personally believe if she wasn't using negative words to describe things, she'd be more confident and motivated.  However, she is doing it. Maybe this is her way to get through it.  Everyone has different ways of handling things. I still see her eating well and trying.  So I'm supportive. :-)

Once again, best of luck to you! You got this!
